Aries Recognized as Future 50 Award Winner
Aries Industries, Inc., has been included on the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Future 50 list. The Future 50 Program recognizes the outstanding achievements of local, fast-growing entrepreneurs.
The program, administered by the association’s Council of Small Business Executives, recognizes privately-owned companies in the southeastern Wisconsin seven-county region that have been in business for at least three years and have shown significant revenue and employment growth. The winning companies are honored at the annual Future 50 Luncheon to be held in September 2016 and are highlighted in the MMAC’s Membership Directory.
“Our employees deserve much credit for the success that enabled Aries to be recognized by receiving the Future 50 Award,” said Aries President/CEO Nick Kroll. “This further reinforces the MOMENTUM that Aries has as an organization moving forward.”
In 2015, Future 50 companies amassed $1.19 billion in total revenue, up 17% from 2014, according to MMAC. Here are some other facts about the combined totals for all 50 firms in 2015:
- Total employment was 3,958
- 58% of the firms report that at least a quarter of their business comes from outside the Milwaukee region – a measure of how much new income is brought into the region.
- One-third of the winning firms have been in business since 1986.
In addition to 11 manufacturing companies, the list consists of nine construction firms and 10 tech companies; four wholesale trade; four finance/real estate/insurance; and 12 other business services.
