Lateral Reinstatement Cutters
One of the most critical parts of sewer rehabilitation is the reconnection of the laterals after a sewer pipe has been relined. Depending on the length and location of the relining project, an underground contractor may need to reinstate just a few lateral connections or have a large job of more than 1,000. Proper tooling is a must to make this process go smoothly and quickly.
A lateral cutter that can handle the wear and tear of cutting through the new liner in a variety of pipe and pipe size is crucial to this process. ARIES has the cutter to meet all your needs.
ARIES' lateral cutters are remotely controlled that can be adapted to most ARIES CCTV systems or many of our competitors system with very little down time.
ARIES cutters are available for pipe sizes from as small as 3" to as large as 24".
Raptor Reinstatement Cutter
ARIES' RAPTOR Cutter is the most reliable cutter system to reinstate and remove protruding laterals in the industry. The Raptor is manufactured of stainless steel and bronze construction and is mechanically engineered for stable performance in 6-to 24-in. lines . A separate grinding head is provided for removing line deposits and protruding taps. Motor sizes include .7, 1 and 1.5 hp The cutter controller is designed for operator convenience and multiple operations simultaneously via a single joystick operation.
DanCutter
The DanCutter series of reinstatement cutter are all manufactured in all stainless steel and for use in all types of short and small diameter pipe-lines, sewer-pipes, water pipes etc. They are designed for use in diameter ranges of 3" through 10" diameters up 80 meters in length. The DanCutter's design perfect for grinding away protruding service connections, roots and many other forms of deposits prior to relining. DanCutter can be used in conjunction with a standard ARIES TV/Cutting system or it can be used as a stand alone system with any TV inspection system. The DanCutters are moved through the pipelines with an electric winch or pushed with the DanCutter Automatic Feed System. The automatic feed functions by two sets of conical gears driven sinultaneaously via dual motors/transmission asemblies. The autofeed system can push the cutter up to 50 meters from a single entry point.
