CoolVision© Laser Profiler

CoolVision© is the most accurate laser based profiling system for surveying, locating, measuring, and reporting the profiles. The Aries CoolVision system accurately measures deformation and dimensional anomalies found in storm drains, sewer mains, and water pipes in the industry.

CoolVision© incorporates a fixed optical triangulation system, using a dedicated CCD camera, mechanically linked at a fixed position relative to the laser light, resulting in a highly accurate data gathering system that is not subject to orientation and dimensional problems of a snap-on laser probe and disassociated video sewer camera. The profiler is towed behind ARIES sewer pan and tilt cameras tractor system concurrently taking profile readings and video survey or alternatively it can operate independent of the camera system and simply be pulled thru the pipe. The system is designed for use in pipe sizes from 8" through to 48" diameter pipe.
