Omega Overlay

In addition to the data gathering and report printing capabilities of the Omega overlay, the Omega records the inspection in using ASCII text format. These text files can be read by most word processors or spreadsheet programs for printing or editing. Inspection files can be directly printed to almost any standard ink jet printer.

The Omega Plus is an all solid state electronics system incorporating the latest state of the art processing capability. The Omega is built into a standard 31/2" X 19" rack mount frame and includes a "QWERTY" keyboard.

Omega Plus Overlay

The Omega Plus is designed to collect and convert cable distance, joint pressure or grade level data into electronic characters for displaying on a video monitor, recording on a video tape, and printing of a hard copy inspection report. Data can be shown in US or metric units. This system is designed work with most data acquisition systems available on the market today. The Omega Plus is equipped with an RS-232 serial connector for two way communication with a computer running the data acquisition software.

A built-in memory backup retains the last data entered even when power is off. On power up the stored data and distance will be displayed.
