With the ever increasing cost of system maintenance and the always important need to maintain service to customers, any tool that can enhance the diagnosis of distribution system problems, minimize costly excavations, and streamline the maintenance and repair process is welcome.  Our GasCam is just such a tool. GasCam can assist maintenance personnel by accurately locating blockages, water infiltration, cracked or broken mains, undocumented valves and service taps, and unauthorized service taps. 

Certified intrinsically safe to stringent Class I, Division I, Group D standards, GasCam, can inspect up to 400 feet of live main from a single entry point. With the ARIES' NB-60 Launching System, GasCam can be inserted into live mains of four, six, and eight inch diameter and up to 60 psig with a minimum release of gas to the atmosphere.  Larger mains can be inspected but with somewhat reduced illumination.  The NB-60 uses industry standard tapping procedures and operates with most tapping equipment.
